Toshiba’s award-winning product “Floor NAVI” is an elevator destination floor control system. Before taking the elevator, passengers can pre-register their destination floors through the destination floor registration device in the waiting hall; the system effectively summarizes the passengers according to the registration status of each destination floor, and guides passengers on the same destination floor to take the same elevator. Since the destination floor has been registered in the waiting hall, passengers do not need to operate buttons in the elevator. Therefore, after the login management system is put into use, the number of elevator stops will be effectively reduced, especially during the time when passengers are concentrated at work, and the ride time can be greatly shortened.
The destination floor registration device introduces a universal design concept and adopts an ease-of-use design for all types of people, which can be easily used by wheelchair users, the elderly, and the visually impaired.
